The Anema's: Shelly's Visit!

My amazing friend Shelly drove all the way to see us from Milwaukee last weekend. For those of you who don't know, Shelly was my maid of honor, roommate in college, and we traveled to Block Island, RI one summer during college and waitressed together at a restaurant out there. And....she had beautiful triplet girls four years ago! When Shelly walked into our house and saw our boys for the first time, she got all teary b/c she said it just brought back so many memories for her. She helped us so much with the boys....played with Tyler, and did almost all the feedings for the babies all weekend. She's SO good at handling multiples...you can definitely tell she has done this before! She feeds two, burps two, holds pacifiers in, changes diapers fast, bounces with two in her arms, etc. But...she's definitely not used to boys. She got peed on a few times, and when she was changing a diaper once she said, "I just don't know what to do with this "thing!"" :) ha! She'd change their diapers super fast b/c she was so nervous. :)

Tyler and I have been doing a lot of snowman building lately, which is so fun. First we had to build a Daddy, Mommy and Tyler snowman, and the next day we had to do 3 baby snowmen with baby carrots for noses. :)

We had a big outing to the Doctor this week for the boys' two month check ups! We are so thankful they have stayed healthy this long! It's such a fiasco getting them anywhere! Tyler went to his babysitters house, and mom and I loaded up the babies into their car seats, and got them in the van. It's a TON of work to get them all strapped in, pacifiers in their mouths, heads propped so they don't fall from side to side...then you still have to get them into the van and go!

The Dr. visit went really good. Andrew now weighs 9 lbs 5 oz, Micah is 11 lbs, and Derek is 12 lbs 4 oz!

This is how we lay the babies to burp when we are feeding two at a time. We have two in boppy pillows eating, then we flip them both over to burp them.
