We had such an amazing weekend last weekend! Evan and I and my parents went to NYC for a very packed, exciting weekend! Evan's parents were SO great and agreed to take all four boys for us so we could get away. We really can't thank them enough. The boys had such a great time at the farm. They're still talking about riding the tractor and seeing the horses.
The reason for our trip is that my dad has been a hard core Yankee fan his entire life, and I had a connection at work who was so kind and got us four tickets to Yankee stadium, so we just HAD to go!
We flew in Fri. afternoon and that night went to Times Square...absolutely crazy down there! Then we caught a Broadway Show.
The next day was Yankee Day!!! It really will be one of the best memories ever for me that I got to experience seeing the stadium with my dad. So thankful for him!!
Here's our first glance at the stadium. We rode the subway from Manhattan to the Bronx, which was an adventure in itself! The stadium is right off the tracks....
My dad....love this pic....
Me and mom at Central Park....
The next day we went on a tour of NYC, and saw all the highlights. It's an amazing city with so many unreal stories. Statue of Liberty from our ferry....
Ahhh....and how great it was to just have some time to be with my man. We had such a blast together, and it was such a nice break from changing diapers and feeding 4 toddlers! We didn't have to cut up anyone's meat before we at, and I didn't get peed on one time the whole trip. Success! :)
