This past weekend Evan and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary! The time has flown by and in some ways we still feel like newlyweds! :) We've already gone through a lot together: Moved to Milwaukee, made it through law school (and ALL Evan's tests!), moved back to Sioux Falls, had our little Tyler....and it's been amazing. We feel so blessed to have each other....Life is so much fun to go through together! Here we are on our wedding day...the best day of my life:

And here is our naked little Tyler man...

My good friend and college roomie Tricia came for a visit from Chicago last weekend! It was SO great to see her, and so fun to have Tyler meet her! Seeing her made me miss her so much...

On this day Tyler was crabby, and the only thing that made him happy was to sit in the laundry basket and be pushed around our apartment. It was fun for him and a good workout for me! :)

He loves to snuggle up in his bouncy chair and snuggle his little bear while he watches his "Praise Baby" DVD's...so sweet...

He got a polka dot hat from grandma Nancy (my mom...she has a "little something" for him almost every time we see her. He's the first grand baby so a little spoiled...Thanks mom!). :)

He's very into playing with balls lately...
Tyler found his thumb last week, so he's been sucking it constantly. Sometimes he tries to suck his thumb at the same time he's drinking a bottle or sucking on his pacifier. He also has put it in his Daddy's mouth for him to suck (he's thinking, "Really, why wouldn't everyone want to suck my thumb??). :)

He's been sick this week. He has a bad cold and another ear infection. We have to give him this antibiotic twice a day for his ears and he HATES it. Since he has learned how to spit, giving him medicine has been an adventure! I tried to get him to play a little on Wed. but all he wanted to do was suck his thumb and be held...poor baby. He's already getting a little better though, so hopefully we'll get through this one quickly!
You better get a bunch of those bear blankets. Both of my girls had an animal blanket they carried around. Elise had 3 of her bunny blanket, but now has 2 (she doesn't really need them at 7-years-old anymore). Claire had 6 of her lambie blankets, and she now has "triplets". Just to give you a heads-up before they are no longer made! You'd be surprised at how attached they get to them.
ReplyDeleteOh, by the way, Happy Anniversary! And Tyler is a sweet little guy. Can't wait to meet him when you come to Wisconsin sometime!
Happy Anniversary! I can't believe it's been five years already. I was there for the wedding, but I don't think I've ever seen your wedding pictures before.
ReplyDeleteTyler is cute even when he's sick!
Happy Anniversary to both of you! I hope you had fun celebrating!
ReplyDeleteTyler is so adorable! I can't wait to meet him myself someday! Hopefully sooner than later!
Take care!
