5 months!

Our little Tyler man is 5 months old already! He's changing so much, and getting to be so much fun! He "talks" to us all the time, laughs a lot, and is so smiley! He's getting sick of laying all the time, so he's rolling over and trying to sit up constantly. He loves standing on our laps as much as he can, and he's such a social little thing -- the more attention he can get, the better!

He discovered that he has a tongue this week, so it's sticking out most of the time these days. :)


It's been gorgeous weather here this week, so we've gone for a lot of walks. Tyler was getting sick of his stroller, so we put him in the little Baby Bjorn and went walking. He loved looking around the whole time!

This was Tyler's first time feeling the grass...it is so cute to watch him explore his world! He is so interested in everything!

You can see Tyler's hemangioma really well on this picture...For those of you who don't know, that little red mark on Tyler's head is a hemangioma. He has one behind his left elbow, too. Hemangioma's usually develop within the first few weeks of life (Tyler's came when he was about three weeks old). They can grow throughout the first year of life, but after that, they start to disappear. We had no idea what it was at first, but they're totally harmless, and should be totally gone within a couple years. Apparently about one in ten babies has one of these!

Soaking up the sunshine...

He loves his bumbo seat! Notice the long string of drool hanging off of his chin. He soaks most of his shirts with spit lately...We're wondering if he might be starting to teethe soon....

My two boys....they're the best!!!

My brother Matt and his wife Tosha gave Tyler this huge Tonka truck before he was even born. It's still a little big for him to play with, but he loves watching it roll back and forth. He acts like such a little boy already -- he already likes loud things, rough housing with his daddy, and trucks.

Sometimes we look for things to do during the day together. This day we were trying on hats and taking pictures (poor Tyler...he's thinking, "what did I do to deserve this?"). :)
