Hi everyone...Thank you all for your prayers and phone calls/e-mails. We feel really blessed to have such great friends and family who care so much about our little boy. Sorry if I don't get back to you all, things are still a little crazy over here.
Tyler is definitely not worse today. We're not sure that he's improving yet, but at least he's not going downhill. We give him his steroids twice a day and they make him really hyper. Right now Evan is trying to settle him down and he had his steroids almost 4 hours ago. It's like he just gets wired after them. We do the nebulizer every four hours, and that makes him get little tremors/shakes, which is just hard to watch him go through. Then he's also still on his acid reflux medication, so we just feel like he's so drugged up right now, which we hate, but if it helps, then it's obviously worth it. We seriously feel like we spend the whole day giving him his treatments, helping him calm down, cleaning out his nose so he can breath, etc. He still sounds pretty congested a lot, and he's got a nasty little cough....sounds like he's going to gag sometimes because he has so much junk in there.
My mom is here now, which has been amazing. She came yesterday and is staying until tomorrow. Evan went to the library all day today to study, and it's so amazing that he's even getting anything done, but he knows he has to right now. He takes his test in a week from today, so it's crunch time for him. Please pray that he's able to focus and get through this bar exam. I bet we'll look back on this week and wonder how we got through it all! For now, we just continue to covet your prayers....
