Summer!

A few last pictures of our summer...

I couldn't resist this one.  Four cute little boys in undies watching the iPad on my bed.  

We have this soft sided cooler which was sitting out one day, and Andrew and Micah figured out they could both fit in it.  They giggled together inside our cooler for awhile that morning.  :)

Cleaning some corn.  The boys did everything together this summer.  Sometimes that was good, sometimes that meant TONS of fighting.  They had many times when they would go off together and play for a half hour together with no fighting, and then there were days when they just couldn't stop arguing and touching and pestering each other.  They miss each other when they're not together, though, and they have so many hilarious jokes together.  Someday they'll realize how blessed they are to all have each other.  

This was the day they were putting on a "show" for us on the driveway.  As you can see, it included frisbee throwing, a knight in shining armor, a ninja turtle and a superhero.  We have many talents over here.  

They had a big project going on in the sandbox on this day.

All the little guys learned to ride without training wheels this summer! They love riding now...they think they can go way faster.  Derek learned one day, and the next day, Micah had it down.  The following day, Andrew learned.  They push each other to try new things constantly.

Andrew loves to help me.  Here he is scrubbing the floor for me (and seriously, who could scrub the floor without a ninja turtle mask on??).  I think helping me is a way for him to get some one on one time.  Seems like he seeks it out a little more than the others do right now.  Makes this mama happy!

Andrew....as you can tell, all the boys are in to Ninja Turtles right now!  They want to be the turtles (there are four of them, so they pretend to be them lots of days!), dress like them, fight bad guys....

Andrew came upstairs with his puppies all wrapped up like this the other morning.  He told me he had "triplet puppies."  So sweet....

One day Derek suddenly decided he was going to set up his own lemonade stand.  He didn't want any brothers help (he wanted all the profits to himself, I think).  We didn't have lemonade, so we went with Raspberry Crystal Lite.  He had two customers, and one of them was his mama.  He was really proud of it...

As usual, Derek is the most into dressing up and the most into Ninja Turtle's right now.  We've made about 4 different turtle shells for  him to wear, and almost every day he wears his mask.  

The boys just figured out how to do this swing at the neighbors, and it's a huge hit!  Here's Micah...

Seriously....how sweet is he?!  Micah is the one who will give me the most kisses, hugs, and snuggles.
