The Anema's: End of Summer

Just a few pics from the end of our great summer that I found on my other camera....

The next few are from our last trip to see my family. We all got to go out on the pontoon, and the boys absolutely loved it! We cruised around with them, then parked by a beach and swam for awhile. So much fun!! I can't wait to keep doing more stuff like this with our boys....

My uncle Brent and aunt Pam were with us....all the boys wanted a turn to drive with Brent. And he really let them drive.....like control the speed and steer. The boys thought it was the best thing ever!

These next few are from the open house that they have at the boys' preschool every summer. They have a train and bouncy houses, and it is such a fun night and gets the kids really pumped for school. Here are the boys in the train. They took up the whole blue car. :)

And here are a few more from Tyler's first day of school. We all brought him in, so we were trying to get a group shot. I once again asked them to put their arms around each other.

And every morning, this is what we all have to do. "Mommy, can I go under the tunnel?" It never gets old!!

If I ever give the boys a choice on what to do, they always say, "Let's go exploring!" (Andrew says, "Can we please go sup--ploring?) I've been taking them to a bunch of parks around our area. They love to hike through really wooded areas, and always beg to go off the trails. Such little adventurers. It's an amazing time to teach them about God's world. The other day we got out of our van into this beautiful park, and Tyler said, "should we just stop and tell God thank you for making all of this?' He was just in awe. All five of us got in a circle, held hands, and told God what we were thankful for. Tyler said, "trees and grass," and Andrew said, "the monkeys." Then Derek and Micah said both said "yeah, the monkey's." Then they all started hitting each other instead of holding hands, and our precious moment was over, but it's amazing to start to see glimpses of Him in them. :)

Our parents each took two boys and let Evan and I go by ourseves on a road trip to Sheboygan, WI to visit Evan's sister, Christy, and her hubby and gorgeous baby girl for Labor Day weekend. It was an amazing weekend!

Baby Georgia is absolutely beautiful!
